DESCRIPTION: Recombinant Trypsin, GMP Grade, expressed in Pichia pastoris, is an enzyme with 223 amino acids and molecular weight of 23.5 kDa. Trypsin is a serine protease that cleaves peptide bonds on the carboxyl side of lysine and arginine residues, playing a crucial role in protein digestion and cell culture applications. Recombinant Trypsin offers improved purity, stability, and control compared to traditional animal-derived trypsin. High specific activity ≥180 U/mg. Purity ≥ 70% (β-Trypsin). Raw materials used are animal component free, TSE/BSE certified, and comply with IP/USP/EP. APPLICATIONS: Adherent cell dissociation and passaging in cell culture, protein digestion for mass spectrometry analysis, recombinant protein production and purification, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, production of insulin.
