ATCC H19-7/IGF-IR (CRL-2526) rat hippocampal fibroblast cell line, temperature-sensitive, adherent - for mitogenesis and neuronal differentiation studies
Supplier: ATCC CRL2526
H19-7/IGF-IR (ATCC CRL-2526) is a conditionally immortalized rat hippocampal fibroblast cell line used as an in vitro model for mitogenesis and neuronal differentiation. The line is temperature-sensitive - permissive growth at 34°C; differentiation at 39°C - and is maintained as adherent cultures in serum-supplemented DMEM with selection antibiotics.
- Conditionally immortalized rat hippocampal fibroblast line.
- Temperature-sensitive for comparative growth and differentiation studies (34°C vs 39°C).
- Adherent growth suitable for 2D and 3D culture applications.
- Supports studies of mitogenesis and neuronal differentiation.
- Maintained in DMEM with serum and selection antibiotics for stability.
- Stored in vapor-phase liquid nitrogen; BSL-2 handling recommended.
