HL-60-Luc2 is a myoblastic cell line from the peripheral blood of a White, 36-year-old, female patient with acute promyelocytic leukemia. This cell line can be used in acute promyelocytic leukemia research. The cells constitutively express high levels of enzymatically active luciferase protein, which can be detected via in vitro and in vivo bioluminescence assays. Ideal for in vivo bioluminescence imaging of xenograft animal models.
