This Cogent Ion Exchange Column is a Strong Cation Exchanger (SCX has a negatively charged surface) Stationary Phase that has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is manufactured with Sulfonic Acid functional groups that are always charged. We use only the highest purity silica available, making this column ideal as an Alternate in USP Methods that use the L9 Classification or for "Bases" analysis or purification. With a 5µm Particle, this column works well with challenging IEX applications that include Cations (positive charge compounds).
