hTERT EP156T is an hTERT-immortalized human prostate epithelial cell line derived from non-malignant prostate tissue and used as an in vitro model for studying prostate biology, tumor microenvironment interactions, and cancer progression. It grows as adherent epithelial-like cells with a population doubling time of approximately 60-68 hours and is maintained under BSL-2 conditions.
