Primary human CD36+ cells were derived from positively selected bone marrow (BM) CD34+ cells. CD34+ cells were cultured in StemSpan™ SFEM II with SCF, EPO, IL-3 and hydrocortisone for 10 days to generate CD36+ cells. BM was collected using heparin as an anticoagulant. CD36 is expressed on erythroid progenitor and lineage cells.Cells were obtained using Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved consent forms and protocols.Certain products are only available in select territories.
