Itraconazole-d9 is a deuterium-labeled Itraconazole. It is a triazole antifungal agent and a potent, orally active Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway antagonist with an IC50 of approximately 800 nM. It inhibits lanosterol 14α-demethylase (cytochrome P450 enzyme), thereby blocking the oxidative conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol. Itraconazole also exhibits anticancer and antiangiogenic effects and acts as an oxysterol-binding protein (OSBP) inhibitor.
