Synthetic analogs such as triamcinolone are primarily used for their anti-inflammatory effects in disorders of many organ systems. These injections have been found to be beneficial in many inflammatory conditions, including Allergic disorders Arthritis Chronic sinusitis Because Kenalog-40 Injection is a suspension, it should not be administered intravenously.
