These labels can be embedded in the resin capsule or mold alongside the sample. The small size of the label accommodates various size embedding capsules, such as BEEM capsules, gelatin capsules, and molds. When printed with a chemical-resistant resin ribbon, the label withstands histological resins and ovens (up to 150°C/302°F), as well as alcohols, xylene, toluene, acetone, formalin, DMSO, and other harsh chemicals, solvents, and histological stains. The flexible labels have a glove-friendly adhesive, making them easy to position in the capsule or mold containing your sample and liquid resin. Moreover, printing on the label instead of writing on it will allow you to inscribe vastly more information, including alphanumeric text, serialized numbering, and 1D and/or 2D barcodes.
