  • Recommended medium: Lactobacilli MRS agar/broth (Medium 416).
  • Incubation: 37°C; atmosphere 95% air, 5% CO2; 24-48 h.
  • Biosafety level 1 organism.
  • Isolation source: human feces.
  • Verified by whole-genome sequencing.
  • Produces antibacterial agent and is used in colon health research.
  • Handling: rehydrate pellet with ~0.5 mL medium and transfer to 5-6 mL broth before incubation.
