The Malin Company Monel Lockwire is a corrosion-resistant lockwire made of Monel nickel-copper alloy. It has a tensile strength of 80,000-120,000 psi and meets QQ-W-423 and AMS 7758 standards. This lockwire comes in diameters of 0.020", 0.025", 0.032" and 0.041" and is available in 10 lb and 25 lb spools. It can withstand temperatures up to 1000°F. Monel lockwire is commonly used in extreme environments like marine, chemical processing, and high temperature applications. It provides superior corrosion resistance compared to steel lockwire.
