The ACK2 monoclonal antibody targets mouse c-Kit, also known as CD117. c-Kit is a 145 kDa transmembrane tyrosine kinase expressed on hematopoietic progenitor cells, mast cells, and AML cells. The antibody depletes c-Kit+ cells in vivo and neutralizes c-Kit+ signaling in vitro, and is also reported to cross-react with rat c-Kit.
