The NIMP-R14 monoclonal antibody is specific for murine neutrophils, reacting strongly with mouse Ly6G and Ly6C. Ly6G is a GPI-anchored cell surface protein expressed by mature granulocytes and peripheral neutrophils, while Ly6C is a monocyte/macrophage and endothelial cell differentiation antigen. This antibody is useful for in vivo neutrophil depletion and various immunological applications.
