MM28 is a spindle-like uveal melanoma cell line that was established from a patient-derived explant in 2006 from the liver of a 72-year-old, male patient. This cell line displays BAP1 (BRCA1 associated protein-1) deficiency, a hallmark of aggressive disease. This cell line was deposited by F Nemati.
