Mulberroside A is a primary bioactive constituent found in mulberry (Morus alba L.). It has anti-inflammatory and antiapoptotic effects by decreasing the expressions of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6, and inhibiting the activation of NALP3, caspase-1, and NF-κB, as well as the phosphorylation of ERK, JNK, and p38. It also exhibits inhibitory activity against mushroom tyrosinase.
