Mulberroside A is a primary bioactive constituent found in mulberry (Morus alba L.). It has been shown to decrease the expressions of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6, and inhibits the activation of NALP3, caspase-1, and NF-κB, as well as the phosphorylation of ERK, JNK, and p38. These actions demonstrate its anti-inflammatory and antiapoptotic effects. Mulberroside A also exhibits inhibitory activity against mushroom tyrosinase with an IC50 of 53.6 μM.
