NecroIr1 is an iridium(III) coordination complex used as a research reagent to induce necroptosis in cisplatin-resistant lung cancer cells (A549R). It preferentially accumulates in mitochondria, promotes reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation and loss of mitochondrial membrane potential, activates necroptosis-associated kinases, and induces G0/G1 cell-cycle arrest that inhibits cell proliferation in vitro.
- High purity (98.02%) suitable for cellular assays.
- Preferential mitochondrial accumulation enabling targeted ROS generation.
- Activates necroptosis signaling through RIPK1, RIPK3, and MLKL.
- Induces G0/G1 cell-cycle arrest and inhibits proliferation in resistant lung cancer cells.
- Provided as a solid 10 mg unit for laboratory studies.
- Store sealed at 4°C; in solvent: -80°C (6 months), -20°C (1 month).
