o-3M3FBS is the negative control of m-3M3FBS. It inhibits inward and outward currents through mechanisms independent of PLC, acting antagonistically. Additionally, o-3M3FBS can increase [Ca2+]i agonistically. In a study, o-3M3FBS (10 μM) decreased AUC from 1058±189 g/min in control (with TTX) to 840±134 g/min, and a higher concentration (25 μM) further reduced AUC to 457±59 g/min.
