The multiport flasks have a one-way port for sampling, and a two-way port for feeding and transfer. This allows for completely closed system aseptic processing while feeding, sampling, transferring, or inoculating. Thomson Optimum Growth™ Flasks are ideal for mammalian or insect cell culture, and available in 125mL, 250mL, 500mL, 1.6L, and 5L sizes. Shake flasks hold 2-3x more media compared to traditional shake flasks, greatly increasing shaker efficiency. These flasks feature a unique low shear baffle to increase aeration, while maintaining cell viability and improving yields. These products are individually packaged and sterilized for immediate use.
