It has been shown to inhibit the growth of canine-derived *E. coli* and *Pseudomonas aeruginosa* isolates, and is used in research related to bacterial infections.

  • Inhibits the growth of *Piscirickettsia salmonis* LF-89 VR-1361 (0.015-4.0 μg/mL) with sustained effect over 7 days.
