Platinum Skimmer Cone (WE021137) ¿ For PerkinElmer Elan 6000/9000/DRCII/DRC-E ICP-MS. Suitable for most applications, including corrosive samples (e.g., routine aqueous environmental samples, >5% acid matrix, HF, organic). Although the highest cost option, it is typically the most durable, longest-lasting, and because it runs hotter it requires less frequent cleaning. Replace skimmer cone O-ring if brittle, cracked or damaged (NC1585742). Use 10x Magnifier Inspection Tool with Built-In LED Illumination (NC2042261) to inspect cone orifice condition. When not in use, keep cones stored in original packaging for protection.Use skimmer ConeGuard to protect cone threads during cleaning, 70-803-1022.
