Poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) is a well-established biodegradable polymer used in medical devices and drug delivery applications. In comparison to poly(L-lactide) (PLLA), PLGA offers control over degradation rate and reduced glass transition temperatures (by increasing glycolide content). The control of these properties makes PLGA especially well-suited for applications where medical devices are only needed for weeks (e.g. drug delivery). Acid-terminated PLGA allows for easy conjugation to drugs with nucleophilic functionalities.SPECIFICATIONSFTIR: conformsINHERENT VISCOSITY (ΗINH): 0.30 - 0.50 dL/g (25°C; CHCl3; 0.5 g/dL)ACID NUMBER: ≥ 3 (mg KOH)/gLACTIDE/GLYCOLIDE : 45-55/45-55 (mol%) (NMR)
