When maintained under optimal growth conditions, ATCC Normal Human Umbilical Cord-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells have been shown to be multipotent, capable of differentiating down the adipogenic, osteogenic, and chondrogenic lineages. The cells are cryopreserved at the second passage to ensure the highest viability and plating efficiency.
