Active Motif's Protein G Agarose Beads are the same beads that are included in our Protein G Agarose Columns, which are sold separately or in our ChIP-IT High Sensitivity Kit. The beads have been specifically engineered to greatly reduce non-specific binding. They have a binding capacity of 10 ug IgG/ul bead and are provided as a 50% slurry. The beads should be washed with TE, pH 8.0 prior to use in chromatin immunoprecipitation reactions.
