PSI-6206 (RO 2433) is a deaminated derivative of PSI-6130, known as a potent and selective inhibitor of HCV NS5B polymerase. While it exhibits low potency in inhibiting HCV replicon with an EC90 of >100 μM, its 5'-triphosphate form (RO2433-TP) effectively inhibits RNA synthesis by both native HCV replicase and recombinant HCV polymerase NS5B. It has shown no activity or cytotoxicity in various anti-HCV assays.
