The Beckman Coulter 346624 Microtube, 2.0mL is a polypropylene microcentrifuge tube with attached domed cap. It has a working volume of 2.0mL and can hold a maximum volume of 2.2mL. The tubes have a conical bottom and measure 16.8mm x 41.5mm. They feature graduations of 0.5mL increments up the side of the tube. The attached caps are made of polyethylene and feature a domed shape to allow efficient centrifugation. The tubes are sterile, DNase/RNase free, non-pyrogenic and non-cytotoxic. They are designed for sample storage and processing applications like PCR. The tubes can withstand centrifugal forces up to 16,000 x g.
