Triple H (HIV/HBV/HCV) Multiplex Real Time PCR Kit is an in vitro nucleic acid (NA) amplification test for the qualitative detection of the Triple H including Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 (HIV) RNA, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) DNA and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) RNA in human plasma or serum specimens. This test kit utilizes the Real Time (RT) PCR based TaqMan chemistry for the amplification of conserved regions of HIV, HCV, HBV and Internal control (IC) using specific primers after the extraction of pure NA from the serum or plasma samples of the patient or healthy individuals. The assay includes a heterologous amplification system i.e IC to identify possible PCR inhibition and to confirm the integrity of the reagents of the kit.
