This Cogent RP C18™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of an 18 carbon silane to the highest purity silica available. The 10 µm Particle works well with higher flow rates and produces lower back pressures than smaller particles. The diameter and length of this column provides increased loading capacity compared with analytical columns, which is why it is chosen for purification of hydrophobic or neutral compounds, making it ideal for Semi Preparative HPLC. A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
