INTRO: Stable Glutamine 200 mM solution contains L-alanyl-L-glutamine dipeptide, a more stable alternative to L-Glutamine, which is an essential amino acid required by all mammalian cells but is more unstable in cell culture solutions than other amino acids. It is suitable for both adherent and suspension culture of mammalian cells with no adaptation needed. ADVANTAGES: Minimizes toxic ammonia build-up: Stable glutamine does not spontaneously break down to form ammonia. Instead, cells cleave the dipeptide bond to release L-Glutamine as needed. Improves cell viability/growth: cultures with lower levels of ammonia show improved cell viability. Remains stable across a wide temperature range. APPLICATION: 10 ml of stable glutamine solution is sufficient for up to 1 L of medium. COMPOSITION: L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine: 43,440.00 mg/L; Sodium Chloride: 8,500.00 mg/L.
