THP-1-CD16A is a human monocyte-like suspension cell line transduced to express human Fc gamma receptor IIIA (CD16A) and the Fc receptor gamma chain. It is used to study Fc receptor-mediated phagocytosis and immune effector functions and is maintained under puromycin selection.
- Human monocyte-like suspension cell line engineered to express CD16A.
- Maintained in RPMI-1640 supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum.
- Requires puromycin selection at 5 μg/mL to retain receptor expression.
- Culture at 37 °C in a humidified incubator with 5% CO2.
- Cryopreserve in complete medium with 5% DMSO; recommended ≥ 5.0 x 10^6 cells per vial.
- Suitable for phagocytosis and Fc receptor functional assays.
