The Micro 100 16R674 is a 1/4" diameter, 4 flute, carbide thread mill with a TiAlN coating. It has a right hand spiral flute and can cut 60 degree internal threads. The overall length is 2-1/2" and it has a 1/2" shank. This thread mill is designed for cutting threads in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. It can be run at speeds up to 2000 SFM. Overall this is a high quality carbide thread mill well suited for cutting strong internal threads in most common metals.
