The Micro 100 16R728 is a 1/4" diameter, 4 flute, carbide thread mill with a TiAlN coating. It has a right hand spiral flute and can cut 60 degree internal threads. The overall length is 2-1/2" and it has a 1/2" shank. The thread mill has a reach of 1-1/4" and can cut thread depths up to 1X diameter. It is designed for use on steels, cast iron, stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys. The 16R728 thread mill is made in the USA by Micro 100.
