The Micro 100 16R657 is a carbide thread mill with a 1/4" shank diameter, 1/2" max cutting diameter, and 1-1/2" overall length. It has a 60 degree thread angle and can cut unified coarse threads from 4 to 56 TPI in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other materials. The carbide construction provides wear resistance and tool life. Recommended speeds are 70 to 120 SFM. It can be used on CNC or manual machines for internal or external threading applications. The thread mill produces fully formed threads in a single pass.
