TriGalNAc CBz is a GalNAc derivative and a tri-GalNAc asialoglycoprotein receptor (ASGPR) ligand. It can be used for mRNA drug delivery as well as lysosomal targeted chimerism (LYTAC) studies. It acts as a linker for the synthesis of GalNAc-LYTACs, binding to the ASGPR receptor in hepatocytes to transport the target protein and receptor complex to the endosome, where tri-GalNAc is released in the acidic environment for target protein degradation.
