The line exhibits epithelial morphology, adherent growth, and a distinct marker profile useful for breast cancer research.
- Epithelial-like cell morphology.
- Adherent growth suitable for monolayer and 3D culture.
- Neu (ErbB2/HER2) positive; low estrogen receptor expression.
- Progesterone receptor and EGFR negative.
- High BMP3 expression with lack of BMP2.
- Recommended medium: Leibovitz's L-15 with serum and supplements.
- Culture conditions: 37°C, 100% air; subculture 1:2; renew medium every 3-4 days.
- Mycoplasma not detected; store in vapor phase of liquid nitrogen.
