The Loos Wire Rope Stop Sleeve Stop is a wire rope end fitting designed to prevent fraying and unraveling of wire rope ends. It is made from drop forged steel and has a working load limit of 9,000 lbs. The stop sleeve is available in sizes ranging from 1/4" to 1-1/4" diameter wire rope. It can accommodate either 6x7 and 6x19 class wire rope constructions. The stop sleeve is installed by inserting the wire rope and using the set screw to secure it in place. This is a heavy duty wire rope stop that prevents unlaying of wire rope ends in demanding applications.
