The Loos Wire Rope Stop Sleeve Stop is a wire rope fitting designed to prevent the end of a wire rope from unraveling. It is made from drop-forged steel and has a working load limit of 5,400 lbs. The sleeve has an opening diameter of 0.5 in. and fits 1x19 and 7x7 wire rope constructions from 1/4 in. to 3/8 in. diameter. It installs by sliding over the end of the wire rope and compressing with an industrial press. This wire rope stop provides a finished look to prevent fraying. It meets military specification MIL-S-781. The Loos sleeve stop comes in a pack of 10 and is made in the USA.
