It can be used in rigging and sling applications to protect wire rope from bending stresses. The thimble is rated up to 5 tons working load limit. It meets military specification MIL-T-81490 and features the Loos & Co. logo stamped on the side. Overall, this thimble provides reinforcement and protection for wire rope ends.
