Z-Competent Transformation Kit with SOBThe Z-Competent E. coli Transformation Kit is a simple, highly efficient method for preparing cells for transformation. Simply grow cells in SOB medium, wash and resuspend the cells in the Competent Buffer, then the cells are ready to receive DNA. Specifications:300 preps plus 100 ml SOB medium. No heat shock or any other manipulation is required. Routinely produces 2 x 108 to 1 x 109 transformants per 1µg supercoiled pUC19 DNA.
