GSTO1-IN-1 is a potent inhibitor of glutathione S-transferase omega 1 (GSTO1) with an IC50 of 31 nM. It is intended for research use only. In cellular studies, it inhibits GSTO1 enzyme activity, decreases HCT116 cell viability dose-dependently, and inhibits clonogenic survival at sub-micromolar concentrations. In in vivo studies, it significantly inhibited tumor growth in a human colon cancer cell line xenograft model in nude mice without overt signs of toxicity or significant variations in average body weights over a 5-week treatment period.
