Cole-Parmer Fluke Calibration 9140-A Metrology Dry-Well Calibrator
These new units beat every other comparable dry-well in the industry in performance, size, weight, convenience, ease of calibration, software and price. In addition, the heating and cooling rate of each of these dry-wells is adjustable from the front panel, thermal switches can be checked by these units for actuation testing and multiple-hole inserts are available for a variety of probe sizes. Choose one of three removable inserts sized from 1/16" to 1/2" diameter. Insert A handles a full range of probe sizes with a single well of each size. Insert B features two wells each of 3/8", 1/4" and 3/16" in diameter for doing comparison calibrations, and insert C has six 1/4" diameter wells for multiple probe calibrations.

These lightweight, portable dry block temperature calibrators are ideal for use in the field. They can be used with a wide range of inserts (not included) with different dimension wells to match numerous probe sizes. Safety features include an automatic cooling fan and overtemperature cutout which turns power off to the heaters if a fault develops or the unit exceeds maximum operating temperature. Temperature can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Interchangeable aluminum heating blocks provide excellent thermal conductivity and accommodate various test tubes, cups, and plates. Depending on the combination of blocks selected, plastic spacers (36620-67) can be used to fill a half-width recess, ensuring optimal thermal performance. Most blocks come with a separate hole to accept a thermometer. Order a flexi-block to accommodate multiple size tubes, vials, or cuvettes at once. Unskirted PCR plates can be heated in either size flexi-block. Skirted microtiter plates, deep-well plates, and PCR plates can only be incubated in the triple-width version.
