O-Ring, Viton, #218. Viton o-ring is stocked in brown 75 durometer. They are suitable for acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, oxidizing agents and all petroleum products. Viton has a low compression set and high temperature resistance. Viton is especially good for vacuum service and low gas permeability and has a useful temperature range of -30 to 200º C. Valve, Chem-Drain, 6mm, Complete with Glass Body, TFE Stem and Control Knob. The design of the Chem-Drain valve incorporates a PTFE plunger that allows the contents of the flask to drain directly through the bore of the plunger. When closed, the tip of the PTFE plug seals into the lower radius of the flask. This feature permits total mixing and drainage of the contents of the flask. When open, the contents of the flask drain through three openings into the main bore of the plug. Lower portion of the plunger has a 1/2" section on the 6mm size for attachment of flexible tubing to allow material to be transferred into a receiving vessel. The 6mm size will permit drainage of solids having a diameter to 1.5mm. When ordered complete, the valve comes w/ a glass barrel, PTFE stem & black Acetal control knob.

4-Port Airfree Schlenk Vacuum Manifold, Single Bank, 390mm OAL. Single bank vacuum manifold with 0-8mm Chem-Vac™ Chem-Cap valves mounted on a 45 angle to the user permitting easy operation inside of a fume hood. Ports are spaced 75mm center to center. All connection ports are #15 o-ring connections that incorporate a greasefree o-ring seal. Manifold is modular in design allowing the user tremendous flexibility in performing experiments. Adapters from #15 o-ring joints to standard taper components, serrated hose connections or 3/8" Cajon fittings are available to allow the ports to be used with existing glassware.
