Plastic Tubing
Plastic tubing of various lengths and bores constructed of materials suitable for general laboratory, biopharmaceutical, food and beverage, medical, vacuum, low-pressure, high-pressure, cleanroom or environmental applications. Products may be chemical- or corrosion-resistant. Formulated for resistance to flex fatigue and abrasion, plastic tubing is more flexible and less permeable than rubber tubing.
How Is Plastic Tubing Used?
Flexible plastic tubing may be used as transfer lines for contamination fluid control, hydraulics, protective jacketing, vacuum pump and diaphragm pump feeds and discharges, refrigeration, water and fluid lines, food and beverage, instrumentation, research laboratories, agriculture, material handling, air and gas lines, chemical lines and pharmaceuticals.
Types of Plastic Tubing:
• PVC: lightweight and flexible, will retain its bore on bending and can be sterilized up to 121°C
• Silicone: ideal where a hard-wearing material is needed, including transfer of liquids or higher temperature environments
• LDPE: good for general low pressure and temperature, instrumentation, corrosive atmosphere, and food processing
• PTFE: has excellent chemical-resistant and temperature-resistant properties
• PE: flexible, lightweight, durable, and corrosion resistant, used for a wide range of liquid, gas, and fluid transfer applications
• FEP: clear, small-diameter tubing, the economical choice for chemical resistance and broad temperature exposure
• PEEK: high-performance polymer with mechanical and chemical resistance, and highly resistant to thermal degradation

Grainger Corrugated Tubing Nylon 1/4 in 100 ft
The 1/4" Corrugated Loom Tubing from Grainger is a flexible, split, corrugated tubing designed to protect wires, cables, and hoses. It is made from polyethylene and has an operating temperature range of -20°F to 176°F. The tubing has a 1/4" inside diameter and is sold by the foot in lengths up to 25 ft. It can be cut to desired length. The corrugated design allows the tubing to flex while still protecting contents. It is lightweight, moisture resistant, and resists abrasion. This tubing helps organize and protect wires and cables in various applications.

Grainger InsulMultitapCon PVC 14 AWG 1/0 AWG
The Polaris Insulated Multitap Connector is an electrical connector that allows multiple wires to be connected to a single point. It is rated for 600 volts and can accommodate wire sizes from 14-10 AWG. The connector has 4 ports and is made from thermoplastic polyester with nickel-plated brass terminals. It is UL listed and CSA certified. The multitap is insulated to help prevent shorts and is ideal for splicing and extending circuits. This connector can be installed by stripping the wires, inserting them into the ports, and tightening the screws to secure the wires. It is manufactured by Polaris in the United States.
