Plastic Tubing
Plastic tubing of various lengths and bores constructed of materials suitable for general laboratory, biopharmaceutical, food and beverage, medical, vacuum, low-pressure, high-pressure, cleanroom or environmental applications. Products may be chemical- or corrosion-resistant. Formulated for resistance to flex fatigue and abrasion, plastic tubing is more flexible and less permeable than rubber tubing.
How Is Plastic Tubing Used?
Flexible plastic tubing may be used as transfer lines for contamination fluid control, hydraulics, protective jacketing, vacuum pump and diaphragm pump feeds and discharges, refrigeration, water and fluid lines, food and beverage, instrumentation, research laboratories, agriculture, material handling, air and gas lines, chemical lines and pharmaceuticals.
Types of Plastic Tubing:
• PVC: lightweight and flexible, will retain its bore on bending and can be sterilized up to 121°C
• Silicone: ideal where a hard-wearing material is needed, including transfer of liquids or higher temperature environments
• LDPE: good for general low pressure and temperature, instrumentation, corrosive atmosphere, and food processing
• PTFE: has excellent chemical-resistant and temperature-resistant properties
• PE: flexible, lightweight, durable, and corrosion resistant, used for a wide range of liquid, gas, and fluid transfer applications
• FEP: clear, small-diameter tubing, the economical choice for chemical resistance and broad temperature exposure
• PEEK: high-performance polymer with mechanical and chemical resistance, and highly resistant to thermal degradation

Grainger Corrugated Tubing Nylon 3/4 in 100 ft
The Corrugated Loom Tubing from Grainger is a flexible, corrugated tubing designed to protect wires, cables, and hoses. It is made from polyethylene and has an inside diameter of 1 inch. The tubing features a spiral cut design for easy installation and removal. It is rated for temperatures from -20°F to 176°F. The tubing is sold by the foot and is available in lengths up to 100 feet. It can provide abrasion resistance and protection from liquids and contaminants. The corrugated design allows the tubing to be bent without kinking or collapsing. It is a cost-effective option for protecting and organizing wires and cables.

The tubing is ideal for use as an electrical and thermal insulator, for fluid and gas delivery, or as a tough sheath for glass fibers. It offers excellent chemical, heat, radiation, and abrasion resistance and high dielectric strength. Resin meets USP Class VI requirements and NEMA standards. The tube has a temperature range of -418 to 896¿F (¿250 to 480¿C). Can be sterilized with autoclave, ethylene oxide or gamma irradiation.

Tough, but bends even at -454¿F (-270¿C). Translucent. Certifications: Resin is FDA-compliant (21 CFR 177.1550). Tubing is manufactured in ISO 9001-2008 approved facility. Applications: Chemical and pharmaceutical applications. Characteristics: High resilience and strength, low spallation and gas permeability. Opaque. Certifications: USP Class VI compliant, manufactured in Class 7 (ISO 146441-1) cleanroom, under cGMP certified to ISO 13485 and 15378. Temperature range: 0 to 150¿C (Series PFL) Sterilize: Autoclave, CIP/SIP Series PFL tubing is designed to withstand pumping aggressive chemicals with a composite structure made of platinum-cured perfluoroelastomer and ePTFE. Long-term testing showed pumping common organic solvents (acetic acid, acetone, and ethanol) at 10 psig did not reduce the pumping life of the tubing compared with pumping deionized water at the same pressure.

C-Flex Braided Tubing is an ultra-flexible, high-purity tubing product developed for use in applications where a thermoplastic tube is desired, but the pressure requirements exceed those allowable by a non-reinforced thermoplastic material. C-Flex Braided Tubing is manufactured with C-Flex formula 082, clear, animal derived component free (ADCF) resin and reinforced with polyester braid. C-Flex Braided Tubing is manufactured from the finest grade of thermoplastic materials and is fully characterized, validated and tested to a variety of specifications including USP Class VI, ISO 10993 and European Pharmacopoeia. Available in 25 foot coils for the smaller sizes and 15 foot lengths for the larger sizes, ½" ID through ¾" ID.
