Resolv-Rf™ Silica Hard Layer (HL) TLC Plates are made with standard grade Silica 60, which has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, and particle size of 5-17um. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 250um and dimensions of 2.5x7.5cm. There are 100 plates per pack. Resolv-Rf™ TLC Plates are suitable for all common separations. The layer has a hardness that is abrasion resistant and can be easily labeled with a lead pencil for clear identification. The dense coating yields narrow bands for a high separation efficiency. Applications include: drug synthesis compounds, identity of drugs, food and environmental samples, quality control testing of pharmaceuticals, etc. Made in the U.S.A.

This thin layer chromatography (TLC) plate comprises a C2 Silica layer. It can be developed with purely organic, organic/aqueous and purely aqueous eluents. Thus the phase finds numerous applications in normal phase chromatography as well as in the reversed phase mode. The relative polarity of the eluent determines the polarity of the layer. The Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 5-17um, and pH stability of 2-10.
