Resolv-Rf™ Silica Hard Layer (HL) TLC Plates are made with standard grade Silica 60, which has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, and particle size of 5-17um. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 250um and dimensions of 10x20cm. There are 50 plates per pack. Resolv-Rf™ TLC Plates are suitable for all common separations. The layer has a hardness that is abrasion resistant and can be easily labeled with a lead pencil for clear identification. The dense coating yields narrow bands for a high separation efficiency. Applications include: drug synthesis compounds, identity of drugs, food and environmental samples, quality control testing of pharmaceuticals, etc. Made in the U.S.A.

This thin layer chromatography (TLC) plate comprises an Amino Silica layer. The neutral layer can be developed with purely organic, organic/aqueous and purely aqueous eluents. Thus, the phase finds numerous applications in normal phase chromatography as well as in the reversed phase mode. The Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 2-10um, and pH stability of 2-8. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 10x10cm. There are 25 plates per pack. These silver nitrate impregnated silica gel plates are for argentation chromatography. They are impregnated with between 5% and 20% silver nitrate which modifies the separation characteristics of the adsorbent layer to permit increased discrimination of certain compounds, particularly those containing carbon-carbon double bonds. They are available with or without a fluorescent indicator. NOTE: The concentration of silver nitrate (5, 10, 15, or 20%) must be specified at the time of order. The most common concentration is 10%.
