The 25 gram DLV plunger's innovative design attaches securely, compresses the sorbent bed and eliminates dead volume. Attachement to any Biotage Sfar column or flash chromatography column with luer fittings is secure. Biotage DLVs work well on Biotage Sfar Duo columns when larger quantities of sorbant material are needed.Compatible with Biotage DLV vessels, part numbers DLV-0000-0025, DLV-0445-0025, and DLV-0825-0025.

Biotage Sfär Silica High Capacity Duo 20 μm is the choice when you need to run the best possible separation with the smallest column and greenest amount of solvent. You also have the flexibility to load your sample in six different ways.This 50g high capacity column has the separation capacity of a 100g standard capacity column.Sfär means “Sphere” in the Swedish mother tongue of Biotage, and is the name for our columns as they contain spherical silica with higher surface area compared to irregular silica. Purity™ Flash Cartridges are superior because they're packed with Premium Rf™ Spherical Silica Gel. The porosity is 70A, particle distribution is 20-45um, bed mass is 80g, and quantity is 10 per pack. Sorbtech's packing technique and Premium Rf's narrow particle distribution results in a uniform packed bed. The benefits are no channeling, higher resolution, decrease in backpressure, faster flow, and faster run time. Additionally, the small pore volume allows for more silica gel per column volume leading to greater loadability and less solvent use. Finally, the high purity silica gel (minimal surface metals) reduces mixed-mode interactions (no peak tailing or resolution loss). The polypropylene cartridge has standard luer-lock end fittings and is spin-welded (leak-free) allowing higher pressures up to 350 psi. The cartridges are compatible with all flash chromatography systems.

Creating dried, adsorbed samples will improve the separation performance on any cartridge. Biotage Samplet are designed for quick and convenient loading of concentrated samples.After the sample has been applied to the Samplet, the solvent is allowed to evaporate. The Samplet is then inserted into the Biotage Sfär Duo columns and you are ready to go.These Samplets are compatible with 25 to 30 gram columns and contain approximately 3.5 grams of silica sorbent material.
