Safety Goggles
Goggles are a form of protective eyewear often worn in laboratories and other hazardous workplaces. This form of eye protection may be designed for specific applications and to withstand certain conditions experienced by the wearer.
- Chemical-splash or chemical-resistant goggles are made from materials that withstand exposure to hazardous liquids or gases.
- Impact-resistant goggles protect against flying objects or large particles.
- Heat-resistant goggles are designed for industrial locations involving super-heated or molten materials.
- Goggles for firefighting applications withstand heat as well as impact hazards; must be worn with shielded helmets. Tactical goggles protect against impact hazards including ballistic fragmentation and may have adjustable full headbands; or helmet-mountable side straps.
- Controlled environment goggles are designed for cleanrooms or sterile settings.
Goggles may feature indirect or direct or venting to limit moisture buildup and fogged lenses.
Prescription lenses may be available for some goggles, as are anti-UV, anti-fog, and scratch- or chemical-resistant lenses. Tinted lenses also available.

Slit-perforated laboratory tape eliminates the need for scissors. Slit-perforated every 1.25" to allow for clean tearing every time. Quick tear and apply for use. High-tech perforations are designed to remain "invisible" when tape is marked and may be written over. Perf-Tape won't tear while it is being unrolled. Leaves no adhesive residue when peeled off. Water resistant and also oil and acid resistant. Withstands cold (-23 degree C) and hot (121 degree C) temperatures.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Scienceware FreezGuard™ Alarm Fahrenheit
The FreeGuard Alarm monitors freezers and coolers and detects any variance of +/-1 degree C in temperatures between -20 degree C and 13 degree C (-5 degree F to 55 degree F). If the temperature falls out of the range set by the user, the resonant alarm will sound for up to three days. Should the temperature correct itself, an LED will indicate that a variance has occurred. The alarm can be reset manually. A beep will signal when the 9V battery (not included) is low. For added protection, and extra life, a second battery can be connected.
The unit mounts with self-adhesive tape or screw. Unit comes with a 3 meter probe lead. The weight without the battery is 144 g (5.1 oz).
