BioPette Plus Autoclavable Pipette, 8-Channel Pipette - Autoclavable pipettes designed for exceptional comfort and accuracy. Lightweight and well balanced, they fit comfortably in either right or left hand with large digital display visible to user. Chemically resistant, maintenance-free seals and finely polished pistons provide unsurpassed accuracy sample after sample. Continuously adjustable, digital micrometer is slightly recessed to prevent unintentional change and is protected from effects of thermal expansion by insulated body of the pipette. For convenience, volume can also be adjusted by turning push-button. Ergonomically positioned, tip ejector reduces fatigue during prolonged use. Discovery pipettes have a universal shaft that accepts most pipette tips. Tip ejector is adjustable to accommodate various styles of tips and removable for pipetting into narrow tubes. Made from stainless steel, it will not rust, corrode or break. Discovery pipettes are fully autoclavable.

Excel pipettes are fully motorized to eliminate hand fatigue that results from using manual pipettes. Microprocessor electronics and a high precision motor control the piston action for exceptional accuracy and precision, an optical coupler ensures the exact plunger movement each time. These pipettes are self-calibrating, therefore eliminating the need for periodic adjustment. Large LCD screen and simple interface enables quick and precise volume settings. Eight-channel models accept all universal fit pipette tips. The barrel portion of the pipette can be removed and autoclaved. Each pipette includes charger and one lithium-ion battery that provides up to 2,000 pipetting cycles on one charge. Recharge time is three hours without removing battery from pipette.
