The ESR MicroSed™ Closed System provides a fast, safe, and highly reliable method for performing Westergren ESR determinations while minimizing operator exposure. Designed as a fully integrated, closed ESR solution, it combines a precision molded pipette with a prefilled citrate tube to deliver consistent results and maximum protection in the laboratory. The MicroSed™ pipette, manufactured from high clarity polystyrene, is graduated from 0 to 180 mm and includes a built in fibrous safety barrier positioned at the zero mark. This barrier acts as a self sealing aerosol block that prevents hazardous droplets or contaminants from escaping the pipette during use. Each polypropylene citrate tube features a pierceable, resealable rubber stopper and comes prefilled with 0.25 mL of 3.8% trisodium citrate. After adding 1.0 mL of EDTA treated blood, the pipette is inserted directly into the tube, automatically producing the correct 1:4 dilution ratio required for accurate
